High School Pathways Program

At Teenagers Abroad we’re thrilled to offer our High School Pathways Program in both the USA and Canada, including Toronto and Montreal. With this amazing program you’ll get to learn English with native speakers while you study at one of our amazing locations. Then we’ll help you transition easily into the North American Education System. We’ll teach you the English skills necessary to be accepted into a Canadian or American High School where you can earn your SSD (Secondary School Diploma). With your Canadian or US SSD you can apply to a college or university in North America as a Canadian or American High School Graduate.

To enter this new program you’ll have to complete an English course at either level 5 or level 6 (any start date) and you’ll need to have completed the equivalent of Grade 11 or 12 High School in your home country. You’ll also need a study permit to apply to the High School Pathways Program.

This program lasts exactly one academic high school year and you can start in either September or January, depending on when you register and complete the requirements.

  • Take the online English placement test and send your results to info_ett_@languagesabroad_dot_.com | info_ett_@teenagersabroad_dot_.com.
  • Submit your academic transcripts and a letter of recommendation from a school official to receive a customized study plan.
  • When you've received and agreed to the study plan, please send it back with your application form.
  • We then ask that you pay 40% of the total fees so that we can release the letters of acceptance for both the ESL portion and the High School portion of the program. If your visa is denied for some reason, we will refund everything except for a $500 non-refundable administration fee.
