Our Teenagers Abroad Live & Learn Junior English immersion programs for high school students in England combines our expertise in English immersion programs with the supervision and safety of a home stay in England. Very comparable to the English Live & Learn English immersion programs for adults from Languages Abroad, high school students (12 - 18 years old) will live, learn and study abroad in their own personal English teacher’s home. By doing so, students will learn English fast and effectively due to the fact that they will “live the language” while they study abroad in England.
Learning the English language in this way is very much different than the teaching methods of traditional English courses. Students will wake up each morning and be entirely engulfed with the English language. Everything they do from morning to night will involve them speaking or listening to the English language. Each day, students will speak English while they eat breakfast with their host family in England, watch English TV/movies, play sports with new English friends, etc…
Students will also take structured English courses in addition to the private tutoring at home during their English immersion programs. It is the original combination of English courses, daily conversations in English and social activities in a foreign language that allows for this learning method of full language immersion to be effective. By the end of the Live & Learn Junior English immersion programs in England, high school students will have a deep insight into the English language and England’s lifestyle, traditions and culture.
