The Teenagers Abroad Live & Learn Junior Italian Immersion Programs in Italy combine the supervision and safety of a home stay with our expertise in Italian immersion programs. As is the case with our Italian Live & Learn Italian immersion programs for adults, high school students between the ages of 12 - 18 will live and study in the home of their personal Italian teacher. This allows students to learn Italian as effectively as possible because they will actually “live the language” while they experience an Italian language holiday in Italy!
These kind of Italian immersion programs are very different to traditional Italian courses. Each morning, students will wake up and be completely surrounded by the Italian language. Participants will be listening to and speaking Italian in just about everything they do while they live and study abroad in Italy, such as eating meals with their host family, watching movies/TV, playing sports, etc…
High school students will also participate in structured language courses during their Italian immersion programs. It is the unique combination of Italian immersion programs, daily conversations with native speakers and social activities in Italian that allows for this method of full Italian immersion programs to be so efficient and incredibly effective.
