Our Teenagers Abroad Live & Learn Junior Spanish immersion programs for high school students in Costa Rica combines the supervision and safety of staying with a host family with our expertise in Spanish immersion programs. Just like our Live & Learn Spanish immersion programs for adults, our Spanish immersion programs for high school students (12 - 18 years old) can live and study in their own personal Spanish teacher’s home in Costa Rica.
By doing so, students learn Spanish as effectively as possible because they will actually “live the language” while experiencing an authentic Spanish language holiday in Costa Rica!
This style of Spanish language learning is much different than traditional Spanish courses. Students will wake up each morning and be instantly consumed with the Spanish language. They will be speaking Spanish in just about everything they do while living abroad in Costa Rica, such as eating breakfast with their host family, watching TV, playing sports and much more suring their Spanish immersion programs.
Students will also have structured Spanish courses to follow. It is the unique combination of Spanish courses, daily conversations and social activities in Spanish that allows for this method of full language immersion to be effective. By the end of the live & learn Spanish immersion program for high school students, students will have a true insight into the Spanish language and into Costa Rica's lifestyle.
