People travel from all over to enjoy the warm weather, to take in the Mediterranean atmosphere and to visit the spectacular sandy beaches of St. Julians, Malta!

St. Julians has something for everyone to enjoy! The good thing about being on a small island is that all of Malta's magnificent attractions are always nearby. Every attraction, site, and activity can be reached with just a short ride on a bus. St. Julians offers many colorful fiestas, great culture, fascinating exhibitions, festive music, sports, captivating theater, cinema, and a lively nightlife.

As you explore the quaint fishing town of St. Julians, you'll discover many beautiful old buildings, stunning natural works of art and meet friendly natives. The parks in Valletta offer peace and quiet for relaxing, while Paceville offers the most entertaining nightlife on the island! For culture enthusiasts, St. Julians also offers impressive architecture, wonderful museums, and world-renowned art exhibits.

Weather in St. Julians:
All you need to know is that you'll need shorts and lots of sunscreen!
The average temperature for the year in St. Julians is 18.7℃. Average temperatures are measured in Valletta, not directly in St. Julians; however, because the climate is uniform over the entire island, this temperature data can be applied universally over the archipelago.

Furthermore, the sun shines practically every day; therefore, we recommend bringing lots of sunscreen with you to use during the day, in particularly days on the beach! During the summer, St. Julians is down-right hot at times; so, light clothes made from natural fibers, such as cotton, and hats are recommended to help beat the heat.

Shopping in St. Julians:
Just a few minutes from the language school in St. Julians is a large supermarket, which has everything students could possibly need while they study abroad! In St. Julians there is, of course, also shopping for fun, not just for neccessity. There are many souvenir shops in the area, and there are also many clothing and book stores just around the corner! Recently, in the heart of St. Julians, the "Bay Street Complex" was built, creating a shopper's paradise. Generally, all shops and stores are opened from 9:00am - 1:00pm & 4:30pm - 7:00pm, Monday to Saturday. In St. Julians and pretty much the entire island of Malta, shops are closed the entire day on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Nightlife in St. Julians:
Going out in St. Julians is relatively cheap when compared to going out in most cities around Europe. Our Teenagers Abroad group leaders will organise various activities in the evenings for the students. Some evening activities may include: parties, nights out on the town, and quiz nights. Group leaders will stay with the students throughout the night, ensuring that students have a memorable time but are, at the same time, safe and supervised. Also, near St. Julians, there is a large cinema, bowling alley and IMAX center where students can have fun with their new friends in the evenings.
