Ever since its foundation by the Roman emperor Augustus, the city of Augsburg has been at the intersection of some of the most important trade and travel routes on the continent. The face of Augsburg has been shaped by its 2000-year history, and today - as the third largest city in Bavaria, it is a university city, an important economic centre amongst companies with international recognition, and a proud home to many young people.

Surpassed only by Vienna and Salzburg, Augsburg is the next most significant city in the life of the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Famous sights: The Fuggerei (oldest social settlement in the world), the Augsburg puppet theater with adjacent museum, Brecht and Mozart museum, Renaissance-city hall and Maximilianstraße, three magnificent fountains from the Renaissance era, cathedral and Ulrich´s churches, St.-Anna-church. Idyllic ramparts with towers. Schaezler-Palace. Lovely old town with canals of the river Lech. Zoo, Botanical gardens, olympic canoe slalom track.

Home to Mozart and Brecht, Augsburg is a centre of historical and cultural wealth.

Our school is located in the heart of the city centre, just 2 minutes away from the historical part of town, close to many shops, cafes, and major sights. There is a large cafeteria in the school, a study room, and access to a computer corner. Students may deposit any valuables in a safe at reception.

Standard program: 4 group lessons daily

"A TYPICAL DAY" 8.30 - 9.30am: Breakfast 9.30 - 12.30am: German classes 12.30 - 2.00pm: Lunch 2.00 - 4.00pm: Organized sports / activities / workshops / etc 4.00 - 7.00pm: Free time 7.00 - 11.00pm: Evening meal followed by evening activities 11.00pm: Lights out! "CURFEW RULES" The Residence is a fully supervised program. Students will share rooms with other international students of the same age. Teamers live with the students in the residence and supervise the under 16 students. Accommodation rules and curfews to obey, they will always be under 24 hour supervision by our staff.

After classes are over for the day, our program allows students plenty of time for sports, cultural and social activities. It also allows the students to make new international friends among their new classmates, experience cultural activities together and practice their new language.

Supervised activity program includes:

Evening activities most evenings
One half day excursion per week
One full day excursion per week
Optional excursions on weekends

We have a modern residence with excellent facilities, 10-15 minutes away from the school building. Our residence is equipped with a student lobby, cafeteria, party room, TV lounge, and internet and telephone corner. A launderette can be found five minutes away from the residence. Rooms are cleaned daily. Bed linen is provided; students are requested to bring their own towels.

The following is required for enrollment in a program and must be signed by the parents or legal guardians of the teenager, students may only enroll directly if 18 or older.

A non-refundable deposit of $300.00
A completed enrollment form (N/A if booking online)
A Teenager under age waiver form
We must be informed of any health conditions requiring special attention or special diets
