Our German summer program is held in one of Europe's great cities and germany's largest city!

Today, tourism is on the rise as visitors come to savor the intoxicating mix of old and new. The vast sprawl of the city has pockets of attractions dotted all over.

Berlin is a major center of culture, politics, media and science in Europe and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Europe. The city is home to world-renowned universities, institutes, sporting events, orchestras, museums and personalities.

Students will be pleasantly surprised by a city with many festivals, diverse architecture, contemporary arts and a high quality of living. Berlin's climate is equally eclectic with hot summer days giving way to freezing temperatures and clear blue skies,in winter.

Our Summer School is located in the western center of Berlin, near Kurfuerstendammis one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. This very broad, long boulevard can be considered the Champs-Élysées of Berlin.

The avenue with four lines of plane trees runs for (2 miles) through the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf borough in western Berlin. The nearest Metro stop is Fehrbelliner Platz located a few minutes walk.

Located in the city, in a quiet residential area, our program is located in a large 40 bed, residence with its own large tree-lind garden.

Cafeteria

Standard program: 4 group lessons daily

After classes are over for the day, our program allows students plenty of time for our sports and social activities on the camp. It also allows the students to make new international friends among their new classmates, experience cultural activities together and practice their new language skills in real life situations.

Supervised activity program includes:
2 activities daily in international groups
Evening activities
One full day excursion per week
Optional excursions on weekends

Our guides will take you through Berlin and Potsdam - places we may visit: Babelsberg film studios, Tacheles radical art center, Berlin city tour, Brandenburg Gate, New Reichstag & so much more. You´ll discover an exciting region full of history!

School residence:
Live on-campus grounds with private garden
Students share 3 or 4 beded rooms
Students share shower/WC
3 Meals daily are provided on-campus
Students must obey curfew rules

In most cases, students will share rooms with another student of a different nationality.

All meals will be taken in the school´s cafeteria (on excursion days you will receive a packed lunch).

Food at the camp may not be the same as you are used to at home: Southern Europeans, for example, are often surprised that Germans eat so much for breakfast and often like to cover their hot meals with a sauce. So even if you may prefer the way your parents cook, please try to be open and enjoy the German way of preparing food.

STUDENT FEEDBACK

"This was a great opportunity to work on my German and meet students from all over Europe - I loved that part!"

I really liked the location and atmosphere. The staff was great and the activities were a lot of fun.

Everything went very smoothly, thanks to Teenagers Abroad.
