Spend your summer in FRANKFURT
and enjoy a full schedule of sports, leisure, cultural activities and excursions with other international students of the same age....

At first sight, Frankfurt-am-Main seems a bustling international metropolis. Thousands of traveler's pass through its airport daily, one of Europe's busiest, yet, Frankfurt is steeped in history, tradition, and the arts.

Since the Middle Ages, Frankfurt-am-Main, which is located on the banks of the River Main, has been a crossroads for European trade and commerce and the official venue for imperial coronations.

The city is home to beautiful cathedrals, art galleries and many museums, many of which dot the river's banks. Frankfurt am Main also displays its own distinct style of contemporary and historical art and culture, ranging from antique sculptures to the Museum of Modern Art's semi-annual Change of Scenery exhibitions.

It is also home to one of the world's finest ballet ensembles and hosts international guest performances of the highest order on a regular basis. The city's numerous theatres and the concert house Alte Oper offer Frankfurt's stage aficionados and lovers of fine arts a comprehensive and diverse program of events. At the same time, Frankfurt am Main is a metropolis for techno and dance-floor music.

Our German school is located in one the most beautiful and elegant areas of Frankfurt, Sachsenhausen which offers many charming cafes; wine bars, boutiques and a vibrancy found nowhere else in the city.

The center of Frankfurt can be reached by underground in about 10 minutes or you can take a stroll across the bridge and walk to the center in less than 20 minutes. For our lazy students, a taxi will take you five minutes and cost about 5 -7 Euro.

Our school is housed in a large modern 8 storey building on three large floors with excellent facilities. The school reception is on the ground floor (picture above) with a small terrace area outside. The reception area also acts as a student social area with snack area's & coffee machines. The other school floors are reached by elevator.

Our school has a fantastic mix of international students from around the world, the main nationalities include German, English, North Americans, Scandinavian, Dutch, Italian and Japanese.

School facilities include:
16 classrooms many with small balconies
Modern building with excellent modern facilities
Small class sizes max 10 students
Free internet access in computer lab
Patio & terraces
Access for wheelchair users
Access for wheelchair users
School vending machine
Information desk,buy phone cards, etc
School holds: 200 + students

School neighbourhood:
Sachsenhausen is located on the South bank of the Main river, in the city center, opposite the Old Town. The main street of Sachsenhausen is Schweizer Straße, a cosmopolitan boulevard with bars and two of Frankfurt's most traditional cider houses, Zum gemalten Haus and Wagner.

This program is an excellent option for school groups of 10 or more students travelling and study together. For more information on our Teenagers Abroad Groups Services and Options, please click on this link: GroupsAbroad.com

German summer program: (20 lessons per week)
>> max of 15 students per class

The first day of the program is dedicated to welcome students, to test students' language levels and to make sure everyone is familiar with the school policies, the premises and the area.

On the first day of school a placement test is administered to determine the student's level of German. This way, students can start lessons straight away after they have been placed at the appropriate level. If a student is an absolute beginner, they do not have to take a test, and they can start lessons immediately.

After classes are over for the day, our program allows the student plenty of time for sports, cultural and social activities. It also allows the student to make new international friends among their new classmates, experience cultural activities together and practice their new language.

STUDENT FEEDBACK

"Everything was great.

There was no english spoken in the classes which was excellent for learning a new language. The staff were extremely accommodating and the teachers knew how to set an environment for people of all ages and learning styles.

Future Advice: Do it!"
