Bienvenue! Welcome to Paris, known as the "City of Lights" - It is truly one of the world's most beautiful cities.

From The Louvre's unforgettable painting of the Mona Lisa to Notre-Dame's glowering gargoyles, to the glamorous can-can dancers at Moulin Rouge, Paris offers the experiences of a lifetime!

The city has dominated the political, artistic, and intellectual life of France. To artists, it is the capital of paintings, sculpture, design, decoration, music, theater, fashion and literature. To the French, it is the vibrant, beating heart of their country, the center of everything happening in the government and in business.

This "City of Lights" is filled with opportunities to visit scores of famous monuments and landmarks, splendid royal palaces, the lavish parks, the endless wide avenues and ancient fortresses.

Our summer French program is located in the south of Paris, in the quiet and charming district of Issy les Moulineaux (bordering the 15th arrondissement), giving easy and quick access to the centre of the French capital. Located in a modern residence near the Exhibition Park of Porte de Versailles, our school is less than 5 minutes walk from Aquaboulevard. Nearest underground station: "Corentin Celton" (line n°12).

Additional cultural and leisure information

We want to reinforce that this program is highly supervised and students will not be permitted to roam the city on their own. All students will be involved in a full schedule of group activities, making them very busy. The program will allow students to explore this great city through the various excursions that will be organized such as walks on the Champs-Elysees, Montmartre, and a boat cruise on the river; during these outings students will always be accompanied by our staff. They will have the opportunity to visit places of interest at night but, again, under supervision and as part of an activity.

The time during which students are granted 'Free time' will be spent resting / relaxing in the residence between activities. Students may choose to read a book or play games / sports, etc. This time is NOT spent exploring the city of Paris on their own or with peers.
During the shopping outing, students will have minimum freedom to visit shops with their peers, for a short period of time. Again, they will be under supervision as a group, but may seperate to explore the shops in the area.
