To enroll in the Teenagers Abroad Summer Camp in San Jose, a $300.00 non-refundable deposit is required to ensure a place in your desired language immersion program.

Please Note: We do not accept debit/credit cards or any cards that put any type of holds on funds before being approved. Our approval system functions instantaneously. Currently, we accept MasterCard, American Express, Visa & Discover credit cards, as well as several additional payment methods.

Please Note:
• Transfers from the airport are included only on arrival day (Sunday) and the departure day (Saturday) between the hours of 9am - 5pm. If the student arrives outside of these designated travel days and/or hours, additional fees may apply.
• Lessons will not be offered on local public holidays. 2012 Public Holidays in Costa Rica: none during summer camp program

Summer Camp in San Jose - Curfews & Supervision

Study Abroad - Learn Spanish - Spanish Courses

• The Teenagers Abroad summer camp program in San Jose is available to students between the ages of 13 - 17.

Host Family Accommodation in Costa Rica: During the summer camp program in San Jose, students will be supervised 24 hours per day by our qualified chaperones, staff members or host families.
Students will be escorted from their host family accommodation to the language school and back by a chaperone each day. Chaperones will also supervise students during activities and weekend tours. In the evening, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, students will participate in chaperoned activities. In case of emergencies, students will have the chaperones’ cell phone numbers.
Students will always be either in Spanish courses, with a chaperone or with their host family. Students may spend time in the evenings with their host family; however, they may not, at any time, go out without official adult supervision.

Additional Notes

Arrival & Departure Information:
Students must travel independently from their home to arrive in San Jose on Sunday. At the summer camp location’s nearest airport, the student will be met by a staff member and taken to their accommodation. Staying at the selected accommodation, from the day before classes begin (Sunday) until the day after classes end (Saturday), is included in the program price. In most cases, Spanish courses are held Monday to Friday. On the day of departure (Saturday), students will be escorted by a staff member back to the airport.
