Live And Learn Junior
Now kids and teens from ages 12 up to 18 years don’t have to wait until summer vacation to experience a language holiday!

Live and Learn Junior was designed to combine our language immersion expertise with the safety and supervision of a homestay. Similar to our Live & Learn for adults, students live and study in the home of their own personal teacher. They Literally “live the language” and can't avoid learning.

As soon as the student wakes each morning, the lesson begins, from chatting over breakfast to the end of the day, just relaxing and watching TV, the language spoken is the language you are studying.

Aside from the structured tuition, all conversations, social activities are in the local language. This is a full language immersion approach, which makes this method very effective and gives the student a true insight into the language and lifestyle.

COURSE STRUCTURE:
We offer a choice of 15, 20 or 25 hours of personal teaching per week. The students choose how many weeks and how many hors per week they wish. Prices vary by country:

OUR CLIENTS:
We feel the suitability of this course depends more on the character of the child rather than their age. Live & Learn Junior clients are adventurous, well-traveled, mature kids, who have the desire and skills to travel on their own.

LOCATIONS:
For the most part our clients will be placed in the outskirts or suburbs of the chosen city. Home will likely be in residential neighborhoods and of middle class families. But the homes are always accessible by public transit and the students will have easy access to the city center, rail stations and airports as necessary.

SUPERVISION:
In addition to our Live & learn fees, clients pay a “Cocooning” fee for 24 hour supervision. This additional supervision is required for any student under 18 but does not oblige the teacher or member of the family to spend "all" their time with the student. The teacher does of course spend a reasonable amount of time with the student, as they would with any friend who came to stay.

This additional feature guarantees that the teacher or an adult member of the family is around at all times, but does not guarantee specific activities. Parents can rest assured they are leaving their child or teen in excellent hands. We always strive to match the youth with the best possible match of a teacher or family and our guarantee is that if any student feels uncomfortable within that family they can be relocated immediately without any fuss or awkwardness. Parents are usually reassured by the fact that all our teachers are qualified and, therefore, experienced in caring for children and supervising them.

HOW TO ENROL:
To enroll please complete the following steps:

Step 1: REVIEW our detailed terms and conditions before you book any program:

Step 2: FILL OUT the specialized enrolment form

Step 3: SIGN the Under 18 waiver form (child and guardian)

Step 4: PAY the required amount (deposit or full payment) at the time of booking, using our convenient and secure credit card form

Step 5: FAX these 3 FORMS in as soon as possible. (Please note we request a minimum of 4 weeks notice to enroll a student on Live & Learn Junior.)
