Our Teenagers Abroad English Live & Learn Junior Program in Canada combines the supervision and safety of living with a host family with our language immersion expertise. With a strong resemblence to our English Live & Learn adults program, students will live, learn and study in their own personal English teacher’s home in Canada. By doing so, students are able to efficiently learn English as effectively as possible because they “live the language” while they enjoy a great English summer holiday in Canada!

This way of language learning is very different from the way languages are learned in traditional English courses. Students will be consumed with the English language from the minute that they wake up each morning to the second they go to sleep at night. They will be speaking English in just about everything they do while living abroad in Canada. For example, students will speak English while eating breakfast with their host family, watching TV, playing sports, etc…

Students will also have a structured English course to enhance the language learning experience. It is the combination of the Englsih courses, daily conversations and social activities in a foreign language that allows for this method of full language immersion to be effective. By the end of the Live & Learn Junior program in Canada, students will have a true insight into the English language and into the lifestyle of the people of Canada.

English Course Structure: 
Students can choose between participating in 15, 20 or 25 hours of private lessons per week while in Canada. Students can then choose how many weeks they wish to participate in our English Live & Learn Junior program. Our Clients:
Deciding whether this English course is right for you or your child depends on the character of the student more than his/her age. Participants of the Live & Learn Junior program in Canada are generally well-traveled, mature & adventurous children, who have the desire, confidence and ability to learn English, study abroad and travel to Canada on their own with a minimal amount of supervision.

Locations in Canada:
Generally, participants are housed in the suburbs or outskirts of the chosen Canadian city. Homes in Canada are mostly in nice, residential neighborhoods and owned/occupied by middle class Canadian families. Though homes are not around the downtown area of cities, public transit is typically easily accessible to students. This gives students easy access the city center, railway stations and airports easily whenever desired.

Supervision:
24 hours a day supervision of the child requires there to be a “Cocooning” fee, which will be an additional fee to the Live & Learn Junior program in Canada's tuition. This service is required for those English students under 18 years old and is optional for those who are older than 18. However, teachers and members of host families are not obliged to spend every moment of their time with the students. The host will spend a reasonable amount of time with the participant, just as they would if a very close friend came to stay with them in their home.

We guarantee that children are supervised at all times (during certain activities) by either their English teacher, Canadian host family members or other adult staff members of our English language school in Canada. Our program is very professional with strict guidelines and procedures that our staff must follow at all times.
We also guarantee that students will be matched with the best possible fit of English teacher or family based on the personal information, needs and desires of the student. If, at any time, the student feels uncomfortable or is not getting along with the assigned Canadian host family, we can relocate the student immediately without any problems at all. Moverover, parents can feel rest assured knowing that all of our English teachers are qualified and experienced in child supervision and care.

Step 3: Sign the Teen Waiver form (child and guardian)

Step 4: Pay (deposit of full payment) by completing our convenient and secure credit card form
